Healy Lawn and Copley Lawn are the largest open green spaces on campus and are popular for students to read and play recreational sports in nice weather.
Until 1928, Copley Lawn was used as Georgetown¿s varsity football and baseball fields. Commencement ceremonies in the spring occur on Healy Lawn.
