The "Exorcist Steps" refers to an outdoor staircase that connects Prospect Street with Canal Road. The steps are popular because of a famous scene filmed in the movie "The Exorcist."
"The Exorcist" is a 1973 American horror film directed by William Friedkin, adapted from the 1971 novel of the same name by alumnus William Peter Blatty (C'50).
