New North has space for classrooms and professor's offices. It also features the 120-seat McNeir Auditorium, used for lectures and performances.
New North, located west of Old North, was completed in 1926 as a student residence with student lounges and one large lecture hall. When Village C Residence Hall was finished in 1986, New North was renovated to house academic offices.
